Plant City Support Our Soldiers, Inc.

Plant City Support Our Soldiers, Inc. (P.C.S.O.S.), founded November 17, 2008, is a non-profit organization that gathers supplies and entertainment items to send to members of the Armed Forces serving overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. Comprised of dedicated, highly motivated volunteers, we support each branch of the Military from Plant City and surrounding areas. All monetary donations received go toward purchasing supplies and deferring the cost of mailing items overseas. The phrase “FREEDOM IS NOT FREE” is very dear to our hearts. We are very proud of our Military and are honored to support them. P.C.S.O.S. will continue to offer ongoing support for all our Military Personnel until all of our Soldiers come HOME!!!

Mission Statement
To obtain supplies and entertainment items to send to our Soldiers.

How It Works
Items donated are left in a collection box to be picked up, or someone calls for us to pick up items. We then sort and package the items into "care package" boxes. These "care packages" are then shipped to one Soldier to share with their Unit. Items not used by that Unit are then given to the Chaplain to share with other Units.

Know of a Soldier or Unit that would like to receive a “care package”? Contact us at donna@plantcitysupportoursoldiers.net to provide the name and address of a contact in the Unit. (We are unable to ship to a Unit as each package must be addressed to a specific individual.) We will also need the date of when the Soldier will be returning home so that we are not spending money to ship a package to someone who is no longer at that address.

We are gearing up to do a Spring/Easter Mailing. Spring/Easter decorations/items will be accepted until March 15th. Monetary donations for shipping costs are always accepted. There will be a Spring/Easter packing event Saturday, March 20th for those wishing to assist in packing and mailing packages.
